SKILLS TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

Success over the long run depends on blending in with the community. In order to assist clients function as appropriately and independently as possible in the community, AHS offers skill training that consists of activities that help our clients grow and enhance their skills. Budgeting, shopping, transportation, appointment scheduling, access to community resources (medical, housing, legal, etc.), and others, are all covered in training that is tailored to each client's specific needs.
